- Cold-formed special parts
The generic term for the leading core processes we use to manufacture our products is pressing. In this process, the raw material is shaped between our tools by a machine under high pressure.
We use coil for this as the common denominator of the economic basis of our business. In deep-drawing, fine-blanking, and stamping technology, the forming between punches and dies takes place in vertically operating presses from strip, while round material is sheared, transported, and processed horizontally.
The outer process limits are the press force, the machine stroke, the table length, or the number of available insertion stages in the machine space used. We have a wide range of commercially available units for most conceivable applications in the mass production of parts.
Typical key figures include vertical press forces of 40 to 250 t, tool clamping area of 1900 x 450 mm, product sizes of 500 mm in length, 200 mm in width, and 6 mm in thickness; horizontal presses up to 10 mm starting diameters on up to 6 stages and up to 120 mm in product length.
TKG has 75 cold forming presses, 12 stamping presses, 3 fine blanking presses, and 20 deep drawing presses for production.
These core competencies are complemented by the ability to rework pressed blanks using forming and thread rolling, machining, and heat treatment in-house.
We offer services for additional product requirements, such as surface protection or coatings, through our external partners.
